Carefully inspect the working environment: within a 10-meter radius of the operating area, no oils or other flammable and explosive materials should be stored (including pipelines carrying flammable or explosive gases) ; During on-site welding, all flammable materials in the surrounding area must be removed; those that cannot be removed need to be properly protected, and fire-fighting equipment should be available. When there are precision items such as rollers, guide rails, and electrical equipment around the welding site, protective measures must be taken to prevent weld spatter and arc burns. The personnel on site employed effective methods to control the spread of the fire, cut off the power supply, used fire extinguishers properly to put out the fire, and evacuated people and equipment. If anyone is injured, immediately move them to a safe place for on-site treatment and call the emergency number 120. 2. In the event of burns or scalds, stop operating, dress the wound, and take the affected person to the hospital for treatment. Procedures and steps: Inspection and preparation 1. Wear protective gear, including gas welding goggles. 2. Have fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment on site, and clear any flammable materials from the work area. 3. Check that the connections of the gas pipes are secure. 4. Inspect the gas cylinders to ensure they are in good condition and not misused. 5. Verify that the pressure regulators are properly sealed, with accurate pointers that function smoothly. 6. Check that the cutting torch is well-sealed, that its interior is unobstructed, and that all control valves operate properly. 7. Maintain a distance of at least 5 meters between gas cylinders, and at least 10 meters between gas cylinders and the area where welding takes place. 8. A safety supervisor must be present at the work site when operating in areas where electrical welding is not permitted. Due to improper coordination between the operators and the material cutting staff, it is easy for the cutting staff to suffer cuts in accidents. 2. Electric shock. Insulation aging and damage in electrical circuits and control buttons, as well as oil stains on their surfaces, can easily lead to electric shock accidents for operators. 3. Equipment damage. Shearing steel plates that exceed the thickness specified by the equipment or silicon-containing steel plates can easily cause damage to the equipment. Loose cutting blades when cutting steel plates can easily lead to blade damage. Emergency measures: 1. Bandage the wound; in case of heavy bleeding, apply pressure dressing and finger pressure to stop the bleeding, then seek immediate treatment at a nearby medical facility. 2. In the event of an electric shock, immediately cut off the power supply, remove the person from the live electrical source, and provide first aid on the spot ; At the same time, assign someone to call the 120 emergency number to send the patient to the hospital for treatment, and report the situation to higher authorities.
