We just solved a similar problem – we added a metal cover over the loading port, and a fan was installed at the back to draw air out, similar to a kitchen exhaust fan; however, between the metal cover and the loading port, we placed a soft, foldable curtain that has some stiffness to it. At the fan outlet, we encountered the entrance to a 80-meter-high chimney that is in use; this was done primarily to address the issue of unpleasant odors causing harm to the personnel involved in loading operations as well as to the nearby facilities.
Are you referring to smoke or oil and gas?
I’m talking about the irritating sulfur dioxide gas.
