Instrument air supply system design

I would like to ask which discipline is responsible for designing the instrument air supply system – process engineering or automation control?

Before reaching the gas source distributor, it’s part of the process; after that, the piping and instrumentation tasks are handled by TUBing themselves. That’s how we do it
In refining and chemical enterprises, it is usually the power plant that provides purified air. Most belong to the thermal engineering and public system departments.
