After the incident, Uncle Pu returned to the country immediately. As far as she could remember, the door of Aunt Pu’s house was never closed during the day before Uncle Pu returned; she would just sit quietly in the living room, motionless, without eating or drinking anything. It was not until Uncle Pu returned home that Aunt Pu completely collapsed emotionally; tears streamed from her eyes like a flood breaking its banks, and she collapsed to the ground, unable to stay upright. Uncle Pu took care of Aunt Pu on one hand, while trying to calm himself down and dealing with various departments and agencies on the other. The continuous coverage by the media, the growing pressure from public opinion, and the repeated apologies from the construction company – all of these undoubtedly tear at the wounded hearts of those parents bit by bit, making the wounds larger and deeper with each passing moment. The results of the accident investigation were released soon, and the reason was simply that the steel nails used to construct the steel frame had rusted and loosened, causing the steel pipes to fall apart. A small steel nail, a thin steel tube, a young life… All of these have caused those who paid attention to this accident to sigh with sorrow. If the construction company hired to carry out the building work had a process in place to ensure that all building materials met quality standards, if such a company had a system to check that every aspect of the work was done properly and without errors, and if it had even set up warning signs using barriers in the area beneath the building – signs that were not necessarily large but sufficient to alert people to the risk of falling objects – I think this tragedy would not have happened. But life is gone; there are noifs. Be thorough in every detail – literally, if details are handled carefully and meticulously, no accidents will definitely occur. The importance of safety work lies in the fact that there are no trivial matters related to it; safety work involves paying close attention to every detail, and it also entails respecting and taking responsibility for every life. Everyone, whether at work or in daily life, must abide by rules and keep safety in mind ； Those in positions handling sensitive information must always pay attention to information security, while those in operational roles should keep operational safety in mind at all times. We must constantly receive safety education and learn safety knowledge, that is, to be well-informed ； When faced with security concerns, one should not settle for a superficial response; instead, one must investigate thoroughly, that is, conduct an inquiry ； When considering issues, prioritize safety above all else, that is, think carefully ； Being able to immediately identify potential safety hazards in various situations, that is, to discern them clearly ； Only by being erudite, inquisitive, thoughtful, and discerning can we move forward with firmness amidst safety, that is, by taking action with determination.
