I’d appreciate it if everyone could help answer a question: as stated in the title, what is the safe distance between indoor fire hydrants and surrounding (non-flammable) items? Thank you
Unlimited; it’s easy to use as long as it does not affect production or equipment operation.
1. The “Provisional Measures for the Safe Management of Fire Hydrants” stipulate that: It is strictly prohibited to pile up items within 10 meters around fire hydrants, and parking is not allowed within 15 meters thereof. 2. Miscellaneous items piled up in the surrounding area must not block fire hydrants and fire extinguishers; they must be visible from a distance so that these devices can be seen clearly ； Secondly, it must not interfere with normal use; for example, the placement of items should not prevent the fire hydrant doors from opening properly, it should facilitate the extension of hoses and the connection of nozzles, and it should make it easy to access firefighting equipment.

No stacking of items is allowed within 10 meters.
