What gauge of wire should be used for instrument wiring, and what type of wire is considered standard? Temperature, pressure, flow rate, valves – all of these are included
It mainly depends on the distance. For small projects, 1.0 is sufficient; for larger projects, a value of 1.5 is needed when the distance is greater. Generally, DCS or computer cables are used; screen splitting is required for the main screen, and intrinsically safe cables are necessary for intrinsically safe applications
Different industries have their own regulations; search online for HG, SH, etc

All the instrument control cables in our company are of the KVVRP type. But I didn’t notice which ones use intrinsically safe cables. Is it okay to use cables that are not intrinsically safe?
