I would like to ask everyone: can too high a TOC level in saltwater cause clogging of the membrane?

Currently, a batch of raw salt with a TOC content of 62 ppm has arrived; the TOC level of the brine in the pre-treater is around 15 ppm. The pressure on the Kay membrane filters is high, and these filters need to be cleaned every two days on average. Is this raw salt the direct cause of membrane clogging? Also, can adding chlorine water under alkaline saline conditions remove TOC?
Adding hyposodium directly yields much better results than adding chlorine.
Regarding this issue, I would first like to ask the original poster what level of free chlorine you maintain in your saltwater – it cannot be based on the free chlorine level in the 2# baffled tank! By keeping the free chlorine level in the saline at 3–5PPM upon exiting the pre-treater, you should be able to see significant results! However, since the membrane in the filter has become contaminated, the effects will become apparent after about ten days of operation following acid cleaning!
