We plan to build a maintenance area next to the shed in the boiler coal storage area, where welding is allowed. What distance should be maintained from the coal storage area to ensure fire safety? Thank you!
According to building codes, the fire hazard of coal storage shed structures is classified as Category C. The maintenance area is a source of open flames, so a 16-meter distance should be maintained.
Is it in accordance with building codes? Which one is it based on?
