For this project, which involves 2.1 million tons of ion-exchange membrane caustic soda production in phases one and two, we operate on a four-shift system. Taking the personnel required for operation alone: 8 people are needed for electrolysis, 13 people for the synthesis workshop including liquid chlorine filling, 6 people for utility services related to brine processing, 10 people for tablet caustic production, 6 people for electrical operations, and 4 people for the laboratory. In addition, there is a shift supervisor, bringing the total number of employees to 48. Is the staff large?
It’s sufficient that the import process of equipment is highly automated. In my opinion, no matter how advanced automation becomes, humans remain the deciding factor. Issues related to people’s work attitude and sense of responsibility. If one lacks a sense of responsibility, it will become an issue sooner or later
