Do asphalt storage tanks at around 180°C require a vent valve and a nitrogen protection system? Thank you. As for the design of the asphalt tanks that people are currently using, the standards do not provide any clear specifications for this type of CB liquid.
A breathing valve is necessary, with an inlet and an outlet; otherwise, how can the air in the top space of the oil storage tank be replenished? There’s no need to use nitrogen sealing for asphalt tanks, as it’s not toxic.
Regulation Class B doesn’t require the installation of a breathing valve; isn’t it fine for me to just use an exhaust vent?
