Class A and B pipelines are installed in utility tunnels; what are the required distances between such tunnels and buildings as well as roads? This is because Class A and B pipelines require a certain distance from buildings and roads.
There is a particularly detailed set of design specifications – I can’t remember exactly what they’re called; something like pipeline fire protection design specifications. Sorry, I haven’t looked at them in a long time

There are no requirements. None of the specifications have it.
The clear height and clear distances for pipe galleries are specified in GB50316-2000 (2008 edition), in Chapter 8
Articles 5.4.6 and 5.4.7 of GB50984-2014 specify this clearly.
5.4.6 The data in this table represent general requirements. 5.4.7 The minimum clear height specified in this clause takes into account two factors: one is the clear height requirements for the passage of railway locomotives, road vehicles, and pedestrians ； The second is pipeline safety. Due to the high safety requirements for pipelines carrying liquefied hydrocarbons, flammable liquids, and flammable gases, a minimum clear height of 6.0 m above the railway track top is specified, which is 0.5 m higher than the requirement set in the current standard \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises\" GB 50160.
