The recent measurement results from the total organic carbon analyzer are showing deviations

The total organic carbon (TOC) analyzer in our laboratory has been in use for over a year; it worked well up until recently, but lately the measurement values (those obtained using the direct method) tend to be low. I’m not sure what the problem is; the amount of oxidant used was sufficient, and it’s fresh as well, so there’s no issue with it being past its expiration date. Has anyone used a total organic carbon analyzer? I would like to ask those with experience: how do you usually maintain and care for such analyzers? I suspect that frequent use of the instrument may cause the pipelines to become dirty
Does the sample contain volatile organic carbon?
