It’s a bit off-topic. It is recommended to change the title to Several Connection Methods of Flanges and the Differences between TH and PAD
TH: A threaded flange refers to a flange that is connected to a pipe via threads； PAD: The flange is a raised-flange type, and the bolt holes are threaded holes. The thread positions referred to by the two are different.

I’ve never seen the flanges for PAD; I’ve read the previous discussions on the forum and understand somewhat that they are probably not used for pipe flanges, but rather for equipment (or instruments, valve structures – I’m not entirely sure), and no relevant standards could be found either. Personally, I think PADs and TH (threaded) flanges hardly ever overlap in terms of usage, so there’s no need to compare them. @Boyirensheng, I’ll @ you too. Agreed; 1314 is also right. The original poster listed them as items for sharing and didn’t feel comfortable saying anything. PADs are generally used for processing drawings, while the others can be assigned standard numbers
