In Table 6.5.15 of GB 50028, the minimum vertical clear distance between overhead gas pipelines and other pipelines is equal to the diameter of those pipelines, with a minimum value of 0.10. Does this reference diameter refer to the diameter of natural gas pipelines, or rather the diameter of other adjacent pipelines? Meanwhile, this table shows the vertical clear distance when gas pipelines intersect with other pipelines. If a natural gas pipeline is located in the boiler room and runs parallel to steam pipelines, what vertical clear distance should I provide in that case?
This requirement is specified in Table 6.3.15 of GB 50028; The explanatory notes to GB50028 clarify that the origin of this spacing is GB6222 ; Regarding the first question, I couldn’t find any explanatory text in GB6222; I assume it refers to the diameter of the gas pipeline, as the standard specifies that when the diameter of the gas pipeline is 300, the spacing should be 300 mm. That is, when the gas pipeline exceeds a certain diameter, the spacing is independent of the pipe diameter. So, the same pipe diameter here should refer to gas pipelines. Regarding the second question, GB50028 does not provide any regulations on this, and GB50041 only requires compliance with the provisions of GB50028. Given that the spacing specified in GB50028 also comes from GB6222, it can be implemented in accordance with the provisions of 6.2.1.3 in GB6222.

Regarding the second question, the relevant regulations can be found in clause 10.2.36 of GB50028; when indoor gas pipelines are laid parallel to adjacent pipelines, the required clearance ensures that maintenance of the pipelines can be carried out properly.
