When is it necessary to empty a pharmaceutical pipeline system? Why empty it? What is the difference between draining and vacuuming? Please forgive me for asking such basic questions; I’m new to the pharmaceutical industry.
There are two types of evacuation: one is the evacuation of exhaust gases, and the other is evacuation to the atmosphere to achieve atmospheric pressure equilibrium. Vacuuming is a method for reducing the pressure inside a device, such as by lowering the pressure or the saturated vapor pressure.
Emptying is not the same as vacuuming. Vacuuming is a method to reduce the pressure inside a device, thereby lowering the saturated vapor pressure.
