Can raised-face flanges be used in conjunction with flat-face flanges? Are there any usage restrictions?
I’ve never seen it; if it’s possible to use a gasket, how should that be determined?
Raised flange and flat flange can be used; the latter is not recommended. The main difference lies in the presence or absence of a protrusion, with everything else being the same
