Flange welding

I was working on a dust collection project recently, and the pipes involved many inclined tubes as well as flange welds; I searched through lots of materials but couldn’t find any information on this. I would like to ask fellow sailors: Can steel pipes and flanges be welded at an angle? No relevant standards?
Why weld at an angle? Straight pipe welding with elbows is possible. . . Welding inclined tubes is probably just a mess.
The welding is done at an angle because there isn’t enough space to fit a elbow. The diameter of the dust collection pipe is generally greater than 500, and inclined welding is the most convenient method for short pipes connecting equipment.
Thank you for the flowers. Convenience is not necessarily rational. It’s pretty strange on our end too – a bypass needs to be added to the main pipe; a small hole is made directly in the main pipe, the pipe is positioned slightly upward, and then it’s welded in place. I connected the pipes from both ends toward the middle, but when I reached the middle, the pipes didn’t align – there was a difference of several hundred units. Simply bent the pipe and forced it to be welded together. I can only laugh.
