I would like to ask everyone: In pipeline engineering, 1. how is the type of support and hanger to be used determined? For example, under what circumstances should fixed supports be used, when should sliding supports be used, and when should guiding supports be used?； 2. Assuming the shape of the bracket is determined, how is its installation position determined? Are there any relevant standards that provide detailed explanations on the above? I reviewed nearly 20 specifications and handbooks related to pipe supports, all of which only provide detailed explanations on the design calculations and standard practices for such supports, without giving clear answers to the above two issues.
