Selection of steam main valves

I would like to ask the experts: for a steam main valve with a DN250 size, is it better to use a gate valve or a globe valve?

Gate valve, with a short pipe between the two valves allowing for the use of a blind flange.
Steam valves or globe valves are more suitable.
I heard that gate valves don’t have good sealing properties, and internal leakage occurs after just a few openings and closings? Then will there be a large pressure drop across the stop valve? So I’m a bit hesitant about making a choice
Double-plate sealed gate valve. It has good sealing properties. There is little pressure drop loss. Globe valves offer good cost-performance. If the pressure excess is high, a globe valve is more cost-effective.
Gate valves are generally used, with the choice determined by pressure and control requirements; gate valves are more commonly used for switching high-pressure valve manifolds.
