Dear marine friends, I have a question: The DN20 branch pipe of the methanol pipeline has corroded and ruptured, and we plan to use a saw to cut out this branch pipe in order to stop the leak. The main pipe has a diameter of around DN500. Are there any good methods for stopping this leak? The pressure is roughly 4-5 kilograms; open flames are not allowed. Currently, I plan to make a large clamp, but I’m unsure how effective it will be
After the pipe is sawed off, a hole of about 20 in diameter is left. This clamp is actually quite dangerous, so I need it urgently
