The threads of the valve bolt are damaged; how should this be addressed? The internal threaded bolt holes of the butterfly valve have damaged threads, making it impossible to tighten the bolts properly, which results in continuous leakage
Can’t we use bolts with the same purchase strength for replacement?

Is it possible to put a new thread on the bolt, so that a fitting that fits through the hole can be installed?
If only sealing is a concern, one could consider using sealing ropes or seals to wrap around the bolts and tighten them. As for other good solutions, we can just wait for an expert to show up~
We encountered that situation on site as well; the internal threads of the butterfly valve were simply filed flat, and tightening it was done solely by using nuts.
