As the title suggests, I would like to ask the experts: which standard should be used for designing SO flanges with PN160 pressure rating? Thank you!

HG-T 20592~20635-2009: Steel pipe flanges, gaskets, and fasteners. For welded neck flanges of the SO pressure class, the maximum pressure rating is PN40. GB-T 9116-2010: Steel pipe flanges with welded necks for butt welding; for the SO pressure class, the maximum pressure rating is PN100. I think this is a non-standard flange; I’ve seen a very heavy PL flange on site with no markings, and I assume it’s PN320. This flange is used to connect with the flange of the steam turbine WN250-320 for purging purposes, and the operating pressure during purging is below PN100. Strictly in accordance with the standards, SO flanges do not have a PN160 grade; neither do those based on GB, HG, or EN standards. Therefore, if the poster really needs to provide detailed drawings of the fittings or procurement instructions, it is recommended to state that these are custom flanges that are connected to PN160 flanges using PN160 fasteners; however, it should also be specified that their operating pressure is PN100 or lower, with GB/T 9124-2010 as the reference for manufacturing standards.

The selection was probably wrong; SO comes with a neck flange, so PN40 should be sufficient.
Well, there are no SO flanges with PN160 in the standards :)
