Does anyone who works in the marine industry know where to find the dimensions of different valves for various pressure levels? Are there any relevant standards or specifications? For example, if I want to find the dimensional specifications for a gate valve with a capacity of 6 kilograms and a check valve with a capacity of 16 kilograms, I need to look up those details in manuals or standards; perhaps Haiyou can provide better information!
The valve size has nothing to do with the pressure rating, right? Whether it is 2 inches or 12 inches, there are options of 2 MPa as well as 10 MPa. You can take a look at API6D.
I just want to know what the dimensions are for 2-inch pipes at 2 MPa and 10 MPa respectively It’s definitely different!
There are standards for the face-to-face structure length; the national standard is GB/T 12221, while the American standard is ASME B16.10. However, you need to ask the valve manufacturer for the other dimensions, as these are listed in the valve sample sheets of our company
Process Piping Installation Design Manual for Petrochemical Plants, Volume 3 (5th Edition)
The sizes produced by different manufacturers vary
The structural length depends on the standards applicable to the product, such as the Chinese standard GB/T12237, or American standards such as ASME16.34 and API 6D. The standard structural lengths also vary.
