I would like to ask: in fuel and gas systems, if metal-graphite wound gaskets are used between flanges, what is the electrical conductivity of such gaskets? Is it still necessary to use bonding wires between the flanges when these gaskets are employed? Thank you all for your answers
Generally, it depends on the number of screws; if there are eight or more, no connection is needed
Thank you. Since I used PTFE gaskets before, I’ve switched to metal-wound graphite gaskets now, and I feel that the conductivity of the gaskets has improved; that’s why I asked this question.
Generally, it’s not required to use a jumper for flanges with four or more holes, right?
