My unit is equipped with a compressor that uses 4KPa propylene gas as the compression medium; this gas contains a small amount of free water. A filter is installed at the compressor inlet, and it is necessary to drain water from it regularly. Due to the unpredictable amount of water carried along, the filter often gets submerged in water, which affects the filtering pressure difference. I want to install a steam trap at the drain outlet, but since the medium is propylene gas, it is necessary to achieve zero gas-phase leakage. What type of steam trap should be used? Could you recommend any reputable manufacturers with good technical expertise?
