Problems with the A48Y-100I spring-loaded safety valve

The steam pipes in the boilers of the waste-to-energy plant in this city are equipped with safety valves of the A48Y-100I DN50 type. The steam temperature is 400°, and the operating pressure is 3.9 Mpa; the set pressure of these safety valves is 4.05 Mpa. Currently, leaks occur when the pipe pressure reaches 3.5 Mpa, but no leaks happen when the pressure drops to 2.7 Mpa. The reason for this phenomenon remains unknown. These safety valves are also fitted with radiators. Is there any expert who can explain this? Thank you
Check whether the spring of the safety valve is in a properly expanded state and whether it retracts normally. Then recalibrate.
It is necessary to consider the impact of high temperatures on the deformation of safety valves and springs. If there are no issues with the equipment itself, it is important to check whether there are sufficient means for temperature control, such as length control or condensation control
The safety valve on the boiler drum in our plant is the same type: A48Y-64I, with a temperature setting of 260 degrees and a setting pressure of 4.1 MPa. However, it starts to leak slightly at 3.5 MPa, and adjustments made on-site by the boiler inspection agency did not resolve the issue.
It’s possible the spring is a bit fatigued; adjusting it again should fix the issue.
