I hope experts can help guide me; thank you. :What are the values corresponding to PN and Class in the handshake GB/T20592-20635, in terms of megapascals (MPa)? What is the value of PN according to JB/T81, in terms of megapascals (MPa)? (The same material and temperature should be used.)
The xx value is equivalent to xx kilograms
In older specifications, the old notation is still used, but units are included thereafter, such as PN1.6 MPa. The current standard GB/T1048-2005 \"Definition and Selection of Pipe Fittings PN (Nominal Pressure)\\" provides a clear definition, but it is rather vague. It actually corresponds to kilopascal pressure.
The units for pressure ratings were clearly specified in the 2008 version of the **standard (I can’t remember the standard number); they were changed from MPa to kilograms. The original values of PN0.25, PN0.6, and PN1.0 were replaced by the corresponding values of PN2.5, PN6, and PN10
In fact, JB/T81 already provides very clear guidelines; a unit should be added after PN, such as MPa, to avoid any misunderstandings
But in the HG standard, by default, bar follows PN
There is very little difference between bars and kilograms.
The latest **standard GB/T9124-2019 makes it clear that there is no unit after PN; it is merely a series number. It depends on individual understanding. The value indicated according to this standard is equivalent to kilograms

HGT20592-20635-2009: I’ve seen this table. The unit is Bar; is it true that the unit for pipe flanges is always Bar, while the unit for equipment flanges is MPA?
Pressure rating PN (16 bar). Because there are those marked as PN16 or PN1.6. The common one is PN16 without units
