We handle various insulation projects, including insulation for boiler pipes, equipment, tanks, and reaction vessels, as well as for central air conditioning ventilation ducts. The surface temperature can be reduced to 45 degrees, with an energy-saving efficiency of 5–35%. This improves energy efficiency, reduces losses, alleviates the harsh working conditions caused by high temperatures, prevents burns, and ensures safe production. Case Studies on Thermal Insulation and Energy-Saving Projects 1. The necessity of insulating equipment and pipelines When equipment or pipelines are not insulated, the temperature difference between the heat-generating elements and the surrounding environment leads to: a) significant loss of thermal energy, resulting in wasted heat and increased operating costs for the company ; b) Heat is dispersed throughout the workshop, causing the temperature around it to rise, which affects the comfort of the workers there or can lead to burns as a safety hazard ; c) Heat loss causes the equipment to take longer to heat up, resulting in reduced heating efficiency. Given these drawbacks, at present, most enterprises are gradually carrying out technical upgrades to their workshops to improve energy efficiency and insulation, in order to reduce production costs, enhance energy-saving performance, lower the working temperature in the workshops, and thereby achieve direct economic benefits. Traditional energy-saving insulation materials have low energy-saving efficiency and short service life, and are plagued by issues such as water resistance, corrosion resistance, and fire resistance. On the other hand, using industrial insulation coatings for the thermal insulation of equipment/pipes/tanks/furnaces not only allows for a savings of 5-35% in energy consumption but also eliminates the problems associated with traditional insulation materials, thereby creating an economical and safe working environment. 2. Design scheme for thermal insulation and energy-saving coating: Explanation of the composite energy-saving thermal insulation coating: a) Thermal insulation coating: Modified rare earths can prevent heat from passing through and reduce the surface temperature. b) Insulating coating: Further reduces temperature, provides insulation, saves steam usage, and is waterproof and corrosion-resistant. c) Topcoat: Provides further waterproofing and corrosion protection for dual protection, matches the color of the cylinder body, and gives a clean and attractive surface. d) Materials: water-based, eco-friendly, pollution-free, and compliant with EU RoHs standards. 2.1 Effects after insulation: a) Energy savings and reduced consumption: a 18±2% reduction in losses; b) Insulation effect: the surface temperature drops from 160°C to 45±5°C, thereby accelerating the heating time. c) Neat appearance and attractive surface. d) Waterproof, fireproof, and acid-alkali resistant. e) Service life: 10 years. f) Recover the investment in about 1 year. 3. Application Areas 3.1 Insulation for printing and dyeing equipment such as high-temperature overflow cylinders, air-flow cylinders, and normal-temperature cylinders in the printing and dyeing industry. 3.2 Insulation for rubber and automotive industry molds, as well as for vulcanization machines/vulcanization tanks. 3.3 Insulation for medical and chemical reaction kettles, as well as insulation to prevent condensation water on equipment. 3.4 Insulation for power plants, cement plant kilns, steam turbines, etc.
