Recently, I came across polyether media; according to Baidu, the viscosity index of polyether is much higher than that of mineral oil, ranging from about 170 to 245. The customer also said that the viscosity is extremely high, causing stringing. So, is it better to choose a hard-sealed V-ball for the shut-off valve? What other suitable valve types are there? 2. Does the selection of the actuator need to be upgraded?
If the temperature drops, it will crystallize, right? A jacketed insulated ball valve is required.
I searched on Baidu, and it says it’s a liquid; I didn’t see any mention of it crystallizing
The more regular the molecular structure, the tighter the arrangement of molecules, which reduces the space available for their movement. The hydrogen bonds within the polyester polyether itself enhance the intermolecular bonding forces, allowing them to crystallize at room temperature.
