What do the small black dots in the drawing represent?
Exactly, it’s the socket welding point!
Where there are pipe fittings! Elbows, diameter changes, tees, etc
It is called a solder joint in the diagram, but in reality it refers to a weld seam; from the diagram, it seems to be a socket weld of 2\" (DN50).
Dots represent welds, and double horizontal lines represent supports and hangers
