May I ask if wafer-type check valves can be used on crude oil process pipelines?

Nitrogen is being filled into the external floating roof tank, and a check valve is planned to be installed at the nitrogen filling connection; I’m considering using a wafer-type H74 valve. Are there any specifications that prohibit the use of this type of valve?
Why can’t it be used? There are no regulations in this regard. It works perfectly fine.

If high sealing performance is required, the swing-type design has its weaknesses; otherwise, there shouldn’t be any issues
