Why should pipes with these specifications in the diagram be avoided?
It might be due to differences in compatibility with standard pipe fittings and valves? For reference.
The outer diameter of DN125 inch pipes comes in two sizes: 139.7 and 141.3, which can be easily confused.
1. It is difficult to source products from the market. 2. The relevant product manufacturing standards do not recommend this specification
I learned it from foreigners; there are many DN65 and DN125 pipes for fire protection purposes
Many supporting devices no longer produce products of this specification
If less is used, less will be manufactured, which makes the price higher; it’s also difficult to obtain such products. When orders are few, manufacturers stop producing them, and as a result, there is even less of these products available on the market. The same applies to valves, fittings, and other similar items. The same principle holds true for high-alloy pipes as well
It’s just that it is used less, which makes it difficult to purchase in the market.
So, what’s needed is a form of “standardization” to achieve unity as much as possible.
