Why aren’t valve samples made public?

New to the field, asking some rather silly questions. Why don’t some companies put product samples on their company websites for people to download? Will it be more beneficial once it spreads? Chemical Engineering Discussions
It is mainly due to concerns related to intellectual property and patents, out of fear of being copied by competitors.
I’m not afraid of outright counterfeits; what I’m worried about is brand-name imitation. You make Kangshifu, while I register a shell company and have one of your competitors manufacture Kangshuaibo for me. It’s even possible that it will sell better than your original product.;P
That’s right; once, upon a tip from the public, several suspects from the north were caught in a locked residential house next to the project, labeling cheap valves. Another room was filled with low-quality valves, and upon interrogation, it was found that a considerable number of such low-quality valves had already made their way into the project.
It’s mainly a matter of awareness; some pump and valve manufacturers also make their samples available for download on their official websites. It has nothing to do with whether it’s counterfeit or not.
We built a set of equipment for the customer, but the theoretical foundation was incomplete; the customer had to make various modifications after receiving it. At first, the price was set very low, because the other party had a second phase as well. A few years passed, and the customer carried out Phase 2 on their own, with results that were even better than those of Phase 1.
You’re overthinking it. Just by putting up a sample, can it be copied and imitated? It’s simply because no one is in charge; there’s no dedicated person responsible for the network aspect.
