The development direction of the ammonia-soda steam distillation process: dry distillation or high-vacuum distillation?
Both are development directions for distillation.
Dry distillation uses lime powder instead of lime milk, utilizing the heat generated from the reaction between quicklime and water; thus, it is more energy-efficient! Currently, its scope of use is quite limited!
Vacuum distillation is relatively more widely used.
