It should be a joint-alkali process soda ash enterprise, and an ammonia-alkali process soda ash enterprise does not produce ammonium chloride as a by-product. However, I have never come into contact with Lianjia. I’ll let Piaoer’s moderator answer this question for you.
For every ton of soda ash produced by the joint soda ash plant, one ton of ammonium chloride is required as a by-product, which is also the source of the double-ton cost of the joint soda ash process. The final products of the joint soda ash are sodium carbonate and ammonium chloride. The sodium ions come from the raw salt, and the chloride ions in the raw salt generate ammonium chloride. Then The carbonate and ammonia in this product come from synthetic ammonia, so joint alkali needs to be equipped with a synthetic ammonia. Generally, the ammonia consumption of two tons of joint alkali is 330kg-350kg. As for the surplus you asked about, I don't know what it means.
This is the often mentioned ammonium-to-alkali ratio. Normally it should be between 1.02 and 1.08. There will be a little more ammonium chloride so that the system will not expand. How much liquid ammonia is there? I don't know which indicator you are referring to.
If dry ammonium is produced entirely, the fertilizer-to-alkali ratio should not exceed 1.08.
This post was last edited by mkp369 on 2012-11-8 15:20. Generally speaking, the by-product of producing one ton of soda ash and one ton of ammonium chloride is only gaseous ammonia, not liquid ammonia. The liquid ammonia you mentioned should be the liquid ammonia that supports synthetic ammonia.
If only shifting gas is used to produce alkali, there will be a 10% surplus of liquid ammonia.
