The cause of the high residual sulfur content in the acid slag produced from pyrite has been identified: it is around 0.3% in the fixed layer inside the furnace, while it rises to around 1.5% in cases involving waste heat utilization and cyclone dust removal.
If the secondary air is insufficient, tertiary air can be added in front of the first evaporator chamber. High residual sulfur levels in the slag after a cyclone indicate that your system has good sealing, with basically no air leaks.
Turning on the secondary air, reducing the air flow rate at the bottom of the furnace, and lowering the wind speed in the boiling layer are some solutions; additionally, increasing the particle size of the furnace feed material can also help resolve the issue
