Could the experts share what the back pressure level is for their fluidized bed furnaces, in Kpa? The specified pressure generally does not exceed 13.5 Kpa. In my opinion, the level of back pressure should be determined based on the type of ore being roasted; a higher back pressure helps ensure the stable operation of the furnace. The downside is that it increases the energy consumption of the fans. Are there any other hazards associated with a higher back pressure?
If your plant’s fans have a large excess of wind pressure, the solution is simply to increase power consumption. If the excess isn’t significant, thickening the fixed layer can result in poor boiling or even no boiling at all, in which case it will be necessary to shut down the equipment and inspect the furnace
