Recently, we used PVC for pipe lining; we used black plastic pipes to supply steam for heating. It wasn’t mainly for that purpose, but rather for the filters. The pipes were a bit long, so they were also attached to those pipes. The problem that arose later was significant fluctuations in pump pressure. When the vent was opened, liquid could be seen, so we suspected that the issue lay with the section of pipe that had been lined with PVC. Will it melt and deform inside the pipe? What is the melting temperature of PVC? Please advise
I don’t know if it melts or not. The operating temperature range for media in steel PVC pipes is -25°C to +65°C. Temperatures above this range are not acceptable, as the pipes will become soft

I’m not sure about the process, but exceeding the operating temperature of PVC will definitely damage the lining. . . .
Bulging of the lined pipeline can block it; remember not to use steam to heat the lined pipeline for an extended period of time
