Dear masters, I have some questions and would like to ask for your guidance! To control costs and maintain the transparency of PVC hoses, we tested various materials, but none of them were very satisfactory. First is 1250-mesh talcum powder, which does not provide a good transparent effect. Later, it was suggested that silica offers a good level of transparency, but analysis of the available information indicates that there may be issues with its dispersibility. If nanoscale materials are used, it leads to increased costs. Little brother here seeks advice from all the experts: what problems exactly arise when silica is used in PVC?
I would like to ask the experts: based on the results of the current trial production, the surface finish is poor and the transparency is low. Are there any methods to address this issue?
