Kube Chemical’s recyclable resins are used in wind turbine blade manufacturing

Recently, the 110-meter-long high-performance and highly efficient recyclable wind turbine blade developed by Times New Material—featuring Cubee Chemical’s recyclable vacuum infusion resin—was successfully produced at its factory in Sheyang, Jiangsu. According to Liu Zhangyou, general manager of Kubey Chemical Co., Ltd., the 110-meter blades launched this time utilize a carbon fiber and glass fiber composite reinforcement system, with Kubey Chemical’s recyclable infusion resins and other green materials being used throughout. Leveraging Kubey Chemical’s independently developed reversible chemical dissociation technology, this blade maintains high strength, high stiffness, and excellent fatigue resistance; moreover, it allows for the efficient separation of resin and fibers under mild conditions after it is no longer in use. The depolymerized and recycled resin can be directly used in the production of products such as hand-laid resins and epoxy flooring; the strength retention rate of the recycled glass fibers is as high as 90%, allowing it to be utilized in areas like glass fiber mats and crack-resistant mortars.
