Seeking assistance with expander maintenance

Hello, experts. I’m currently facing difficulties with maintenance work, and I hope you can help me figure this out. Fault: The expander guide vanes cannot be fully opened or closed, requiring disassembly for repair. Problem: The guide rod and the guide plate are connected by threads; after two years of use, it is now impossible to remove this guide rod. Note: The attached photos show the guide rod broken in 2014, while the PDF contains the drawings of the unit. Question: How can the guide rod be removed? The material of the guide rod is according to German standard 1.4986

There should be a pin in the hole above; taking it out should do it, right?
What is preventing it from being removed?
I think it should be removable at some point; otherwise, it won’t be a single integrated unit!
It can be removed; it was screwed in that way when it was installed originally. Now it seems to be stuck in place. The operating temperature is 450 degrees, and there is corrosion involved
The expander vanes cannot be opened or closed fully; it is likely that dirt is stuck on the vanes, or that the vanes are abraded against the plates.
Due to the reduced operating temperature, the guide vanes have rusted and become stuck. The shaft still hasn’t been removed.
