Brief description of the situation: When the unit is started up for the first time or after a short shutdown and then restarted (with the hydrogen compressor still running and all pressure levels within normal ranges), the exhaust pressure at the first stage of the hydrogen compressor (a horizontal two-stage DW-13.8/4.5-22 model with a capacity of 13.8 m3/min) rises rapidly, accompanied by an increase in temperature; The temperature and pressure of the secondary exhaust remain unchanged ; The displacement has been significantly reduced. When the backup unit is activated, both the primary exhaust pressure and the secondary exhaust pressure increase simultaneously, up to the final backpressure. (Grade 1: normal at 1.0 MPa; Grade 2: 1.8–2.0 MPa). Repair: Disassembled to check the air valve; it is functioning normally ; After reinstalling the new gas valve and starting the machine, sometimes it operates normally while at other times it still experiences repeated synchronized pressure increases. After all the troubleshooting until the compressor was working properly, the unused backup unit was turned on and functioned normally. The workshop analyzed the reasons: certain macromolecules, sensitive molecules, or dusts were responsible for causing the gas valves to fail due to poisoning. But this explanation is too forced. It has occurred for the third time in the past decade, and the frequency is increasing (it has happened more than twice in the last year). I’m seeking help from all the experts! !
