Vertical high-speed centrifugal pump from Beijing Aerospace Petrochemical Technology Equipment Company, with a head of 520 meters and a rotation speed of 14,000 revolutions per minute. After the maintenance and testing, the sealing, flow rate, and pressure are all fine; however, the equipment and pipelines vibrate significantly. What other possible causes could there be?
What is the noise level of the pump during operation? If there is noise at the same time, check the gear shift gears
There are many reasons for excessive vibration, such as bearings, couplings, bases, impellers, shafts, etc. A comprehensive assessment can be made by observing, listening, feeling, and examining the vibration curves
Was the vibration not severe before it was repaired? Why was the maintenance done, and what parts were replaced during it?
Inspect the pipeline to check for cavitation at the inlet It’s not necessarily a device issue
Excluding external factors, it must be internal factors~~ Wear and tear of mechanical components~
Check whether cavitation has occurred in the inducer wheel.
Try running it without load to see if the pump vibrates; do it quickly so as not to damage the pump. If it’s not working properly, it’s likely due to a faulty pump or an empty vacuum.
