A series of technical and organizational methods for controlling equipment friction and reducing or eliminating equipment wear is known as equipment lubrication management. Its objectives are: (1) to provide proper lubrication to the equipment, reduce or eliminate wear, and extend the equipment’s service life; (2) Ensure the proper operation of the equipment, prevent equipment failures, and maintain its performance ; (3) Reduce frictional resistance and lower kinetic energy consumption ; (4) Improve the production efficiency of equipment and the precision of product processing, ensuring that the enterprise achieves good economic results ; (5) Ensure proper lubrication, save oil usage, and avoid waste. The basic tasks of lubrication management are: (1) establishing a lubrication management system and detailed procedures for equipment, as well as defining the responsibilities of those responsible for lubrication work ; (2) Collect information on lubrication techniques and management practices, establish lubrication technique archives, prepare lubrication cards, and guide operators and specialized lubrication staff in carrying out proper lubrication tasks ; (3) Determine the lubricant materials for each piece of equipment and their consumption quotas, and prepare lubricant material plans in a timely manner ; (4) Check the quality of lubricant procurement, and properly manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of lubricants ; (5) Develop a regular oil change schedule for the equipment, and ensure proper recycling and utilization of used oil ; (6) Check the lubrication of the equipment, address any existing problems promptly, replace damaged lubrication components, devices, filling tools, and equipment, and improve the lubrication methods. (7) Take proactive measures to prevent and deal with oil leaks in the equipment ; (8) Provide technical training for relevant personnel to improve lubrication skills ; (9) Implement the \"five fixed\" principles for lubrication, summarize and promote advanced lubrication technologies and experiences, and apply them to achieve scientific management.
