Hangzhou Hangyang Turbine Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hangyang Turbine”) has won the contract for the oxygen compressor with a capacity of 66,000 cubic meters per hour, which is part of the hydrogen production phase of the integrated wind, energy storage, hydrogen production, and ammonia production demonstration project in Keyouqian Banner, carried out by Southwest Chemical Engineering Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd. This project uses wind power to electrolyze water for hydrogen production and storage, and employs hydrogen as a raw material to produce green ammonia and green methanol. Hydrogen production generates oxygen as a by-product, and this oxygen is pressurized and liquefied to significantly reduce the overall cost of the project. The CNNC Horqin Right Front Banner wind, storage, hydrogen production and ammonia production integrated demonstration project is located in the eastern part of Horqin Right Front Banner, Xingan League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. This integrated demonstration project for wind, storage, hydrogen production and ammonia production is a grid-connected type project. The planned total capacity for wind power is 500,000 kWh, along with 1 220 kV step-up substation. For hydrogen production, it is planned to build a new hydrogen plant with a capacity of 56,000 cubic meters per hour, using wind power to electrolyze water for hydrogen production. From the perspective of optimizing the energy structure, the project can generate approximately 1.69 billion kWh of electricity per year. The integration of large amounts of wind power into the grid reduces reliance on traditional fossil fuels, helping to establish an energy system based on clean energy in the region. This approach is in line with the \"dual carbon\" goals and contributes to a green and low-carbon transition in the energy sector.
