Are there any special requirements for the installation of fiberglass horizontal storage tanks?

There is a fiberglass horizontal storage tank on a small project; its diameter is three meters. The three supports on the platform are made of metal. I would like to ask whether it’s okay to apply some butter between the saddle used for supporting the fiberglass equipment and the metal supports. Also, are there any specific guidelines for installing custom fiberglass equipment? I can’t find any such guidelines – should I just follow the general guidelines for equipment installation?
