Discussion on ultrasonic testing of dissimilar steel welds

There is a pair of butt welds in the unit, made of 304 and P11 materials respectively. We have chosen ErNiCr-3 nickel-based welding wire. The wall thickness of the base materials on both sides is 18 mm. Can ultrasonic testing be performed on the welds in this area? What’s the difficulty?
Just do radiation therapy; why do ultrasound? Ultrasonic testing of austenitic stainless steel welds is already difficult, and when welding different materials as well, it becomes even harder to make judgments.
