This question is unreasonable. Very few people design it, using an elliptical head on the top and a spherical head on the bottom.

Why is the elliptical head a small value of φ1 and φ2? Isn’t φ3 a Class A weld?

As a piece of equipment, the butt welds, weld forms and non-destructive testing ratios of cylinders, elliptical heads, cones and spherical heads should be the same. Just like circumferential seams bear less force than longitudinal seams, but the same non-destructive testing is still used. So φ1~φ10 are equal.
