In January 2015, the Special Equipment Safety Supervision Bureau of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (hereinafter referred to as the Special Equipment Bureau) issued a task order to develop the \"Regulations on Technical Supervision of Boiler Safety\" (hereinafter referred to as the \"Boiler Regulations\"). It was required that a comprehensive set of regulations for boilers be formulated on the basis of ten existing standards, namely the \"Regulations on Technical Supervision of Boiler Safety\" (TSG G0001—2012), the \"Rules for the Evaluation of Boiler Design Documents\" (TSG G1001-2004), the \"Technical Regulations for Fuel (Gas) Burners\" (TSG ZB001-2008), the \"Rules for Type Testing of Fuel (Gas) Burners\" (TSG ZB002-2008), the \"Rules for Chemical Cleaning of Boilers\" (TSG G5003-2008), the \"Rules for Supervision and Management of Boiler Water (Medium) Treatment\" (TSG G5001-2010), the \"Rules for Inspection of Boiler Water (Medium) Treatment\" (TSG G5002-2010), the \"Rules for the Operation and Management of Boilers\" (TSG G5004-2014), the \"Rules for Supervisory Inspection of Boilers\" (TSG G7001-2015), and the \"Rules for Periodic Inspection of Boilers\" (TSG G7002-2015).
