The sequence of overlapping the medium-sized panels – in other words, reversing their upper and lower positions – is there any problem with laying the panel that should be placed first? It seems there are no regulations specifying the order in which medium-width plates should be overlapped. Seeking advice
(1) Your question indeed does not have explicit requirements in the following specifications, but all of them stipulate the requirement to lay it according to the layout plan. GB 50128-2014 \"Code for Construction and Acceptance of Vertical Cylindrical Welded Steel Storage Tanks\", SH/T 3530-2011 \"Technical Regulations for the Construction of Vertical Cylindrical Steel Storage Tanks in the Petrochemical Industry\", SY/T 0606-2014 \"Code for Field Welding of Liquid Storage Tanks\", SY/T 0608-2014 \"Design and Construction of Large Welded Low-Pressure Storage Tanks\". (2) SH/T 3530-2011 provides more detailed specifications regarding the sequence of assembling the bottom plate, and these should be followed.

(1) No treatment is required as long as the lap dimensions between the medium-width plates and between the medium-width plates and the edge plates meet the specification requirements. (2) If concerned, perform magnetic particle testing on the bottom plate welds after the water filling test.
